Album Italiano ver 2.0 presents the experiences of Paul and Helen, two visitors to Italy, and the people they meet.

Learning is organised in six practical themes to help students speak and understand the language in everyday situations. Native speakers of Italian are featured in common scenarios including meeting people, family and home, leisure and around town. Each theme contains four types of learning resources:

Video scenarios with dialogue scripts and interactive role plays

 

Games targeting key vocabulary and language structures

 

Interactive photographs revealing Italian life and culture and incorporating learning quizzes, and

 

Words/vocabulary lists to help students consolidate their knowledge of the selected vocabulary.

Students and teachers can monitor learning progress through the program's in-built record-keeping facility.

Album Italiano is suitable for both beginner learners of Italian and people with some Italian who want to improve their skills.

The Language Albums have been developed for multimedia-ready PC and Macintosh machines.
